To our Waianae Baptist CHurcH & Worship Center ohana

These are uncertain times, with information and predictions about the COVID-19 emergency changing by the hour. We are committed to frequent communication as the situation here on our WBC campus and in the state evolves.

We have been guided by the advice of our experts in HPBC, the CDC and the State Department of Health. To them and to our ministry leadership who have stepped up to confront this challenge in a way that will ensure that our church and community will continue to praise God in His sanctuary, and be a light in the darkness — thank you!

As we navigate the weeks and months ahead, let us pause and consider the essential guideposts that we can draw from:

  • We are called upon to lead our community into the knowledge of the Gospel. Let us lead. Practice social distancing while being kind to one another. Let us survey our systems for improvement. Check on the health and well-being of the more vulnerable among us. Be involved and get engaged, but ensure the safety of yourself and those around you.

  •  Work together to ensure that our church ohana achieve the message the LORD has promised to all, whether that message was originally planned for the sanctuary, Bible study class room, or the online environment. Our church staff and leaders in God’s eyes are the finest in the world for the job they have been called to do; together they are working to facilitate the message of Christ while also delivering essential services, meals, and prayer support. And to our members, my gratitude for your patience and persistence as the Waianae Baptist Church develops and implements our plans to deliver the Gospel under these challenging circumstances. You continue to inspire all of us to do our best.

  •  Let us communicate in an ongoing way. We are all here for each other 24/7.

The weeks ahead are likely to bring new challenges, and new restrictions on our work and our everyday lives. Our strength is in our God and Savior Jesus Christ. He alone is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. He will see this through, and give us knowledge, wisdom and understanding working together. Let us put or faith and trust in Him.

God Bless,

Your WBC Leadership
